The Thomas Mann Festival in Bad Tölz, from June 1st to 7th, 2025, is dedicated to the theme of "Exile." The festival illuminates the experiences and fate of artists and intellectuals who had to leave their homeland during the Nazi era. Through lectures, concerts, readings, and an excursion, various facets of exile are explored, with a special focus on Thomas Mann and his circle. The events offer insights into the life and work of exiles, who often made their cultural contributions under difficult conditions.
