At the heart of this permanent exhibition is Thomas Mann's famous desk, which accompanied him even into exile. Together with his private library and numerous objects from various cultures, it formed the creative environment and foundation for his literary works. How did the writer, who found his final home in Switzerland, work? What tools and habits shaped his writing process? What did his daily routine and family life look like alongside his writing? These are the questions the exhibition seeks to explore.

Registration required. Minimum age for participation: 14 years.
