Each year, the enchanting pre-Christmas season transforms the festively decorated Klassik Altstadt Hotel Lübeck, creating a unique atmosphere where tradition meets modernity. Once again, the Flebbe family and their team are thrilled to host this special literary Advent reading.
On December 15, 2024, actor Andrè Janssen steps into the role of Christian Buddenbrook, delivering a vivid and engaging performance of the chapter. He will be joined by the gifted mezzo-soprano Hanna Szperalski, whose voice beautifully enhances the festive mood.
During the event, savor delicious coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, along with a delicate Plettenpudding tartlet, specially crafted by Lübeck pastry chef Aurel Uter. To make the afternoon even sweeter, the famous "Braune Kuchen" mentioned in the novel will also be served.
