"Confessions of Felix Krull, Confidence Man"
Join our reading circle and read various texts by Thomas Mann with us, in celebration of his 150th birthday on June 6, 2025!We're starting our reading circle with "Confessions of Felix Krull, Confidence Man". We meet once a month and discuss the previously read text passages in a relaxed atmosphere. Before each meeting, the text passages to be read will be announced, and guiding questions provided by us will help with the reading. In the reading circle, we talk about reading impressions, the guiding questions, and you have the opportunity to ask questions about the text to the staff of the Buddenbrook House.
Everyone can participate, whether you're a Thomas Mann expert or a newcomer. We will discuss "Confessions of Felix Krull, Confidence Man" over five sessions, after which we will focus on the stories "The Deceived", "Mario and the Magician", "Death in Venice", and "Tonio Kröger".
There will be corresponding events for all texts in 2025.
