To celebrate Thomas Mann's 150th birthday, a monthly Book Club will launch in December 2024, offering an in-depth exploration of selected works by the renowned German author. The series opens with Confessions of Felix Krull, Confidence Man, discussed over the course of five sessions.
Open to all literature lovers—whether seasoned readers of Mann or newcomers—the Book Club provides a relaxed space for engaging discussions and the sharing of perspectives. To enrich the reading experience, participants will receive curated text passages and thought-provoking questions ahead of each meeting.
Following Felix Krull, the group will dive into other iconic novellas, including The Black Swan, Mario and the Magician, Death in Venice, and Tonio Kröger.
Participation in the Book Club is free, and throughout 2025, there will be special themed events inspired by each featured work.
